No way! There are so many people around here who do that with their dogs (and cats, too) and it makes me crazy. Why bother having a pet? Olive, though, is so incredibly spoiled rotten and she wouldn't last a second outside if we forced her out.
And I love her name. When I was very little I always said I was going to name my daughter Olive...now the thought of children makes me have a panic attack :)
Thanks! I have a friend at my old office who, at the time, had just gotten a granddaughter named Olive, and I also saw Little Miss Sunshine at the same time. It just seemed right when we chose a little roly poly black ball of a dog from the rescue. Her name suits her.
Found this photo today while rummaging through some folders. This little gal is the light of my life. Everyone should have a dog.
