Ugh, it's how I woke up this morning. Ben came in and told me first thing. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. George wouldn't have wanted people to feel sad about it, though. I'm just glad I've had the chance to see him live a few times. A fantastic man who led a strong, yet extremely private life.
Whenever I hear his name I think of that skit he did about washing your hands after you go to the restroom...do you remember that one? How he only washes his hands when he actually sh*ts on them...good thing it only happens about once a week! :)
I loved everything about him. As far as his comedy goes, though, I think any of the Tippy stories were my favorites. I just recently learned that he grew up in this area.
love, indefinable love!...
