Just got home from my consultation with the lovely and very talented Kara (how cute is she???):
Yes, that's right folks, on Wednesday January 30th I'll be marking myself up once again.
Lots more bird tattoos? Um, yes, I think so. Ooh yes, I really, really think so.
P.S. Cloverfield rocked.

eep! I love it when people get new tattoos so I can live vicariously through them!
I'm pushing Alex to get a more work done on his arm so I can go watch.
I passed out getting my nose pierced, so I think I'm out...
Oh man, that sucks. I've been getting tattooed for about thirteen years now and it's true when people say that tattoos are addictive. You get that itch every now and then and, well, I'm itchin' like crazy! I'll post pictures when it's done. This is the first time I'm leaving the design up to Kara. Most times I go in there with exactly what I want, but this time I decided to mix it up a little. I like her and I have a good feeling she won't disappoint.
I can't wait to see! (assuming it will be blogged...)
Where does she work? I need a shop upstate. In my previous life I co-owned a tattoo shop in Brooklyn so I have my artist down there, but I've been getting the itch and would love to have a great upstate artist.
She works out of Lark Tattoo on Lark Street in Albany. She's amazing. The portfolio they have posted online is horrendous but I've seen her portfolio in the shop and I know quite a few people who go to her and will only go to her and we all love her. She's incredible. Unfortunately, this is only a part time job for her so her hours are limited. If you decide to go, I'd expect at least a month's waiting time.
