I KNOW! I used her accident as an example to my kids to stay out of the tree in the front yard, horrible, but effective. I never had a helmet when I took a skiing lesson (of course that was 20 years ago) but it sounds like that might not have helped anyway. Poor family, tough days ahead I'm sure...
Ugh, my heart just aches when I think about it. Her poor husband and kids. I can't imagine.
So sad... I totally burst into tears when I read about it , but then again I am having the worst PMS ; )
