I'm in love...

...with this movie.



I have no idea what took me so long to watch it. In fact, the book has been gathering dust on the bookshelf for over a year now and I haven't even cracked the spine. But I'm in love. With Julia. With the sets. With the dialogue. With the relationship between Julia and Paul. With Meryl Streep.

Fantastic. Simply fantastic.

Being the complete foodie that I am, I saw this movie in the theatre... by myself because my husband wouldn't go with me. I digress... I left there with so much ambition. I wanted to cook EVERYTHING.. and perfectly. I watched old Julia Child cooking shows online for weeks after I saw the movie. I adore her. I also recently read Julie Powell's new book "Cleaving" A very good read.
